Common Questions
Can't I just do this myself?
Yes. It's free, and anyone can do it, a bit like painting a wall. But it takes time to get right, and small mistakes, like the wrong category or extra words in your business name, can hold you back or even get your profile suspended. This way it's done properly, once.
Does Google charge for the profile?
No. Google Business Profiles are free. You only pay for the setup, and there are no ads or ongoing fees.
Who owns the profile?
You do. It belongs to your Google account. I'm added as a manager to set it up, and you can remove me at any time.
How soon will I show up?
Once Google verifies you, which can take anything from minutes to a couple of weeks, your profile goes live. Where you appear in the results depends on things like your location, competition and reviews, so no one can honestly guarantee a top spot.
I already have a profile. Can you fix it up?
Yes. I'll claim it if needed, then correct and complete what's there.
